My name is Emmanuel Berrouet, but many people know me as DJ Manny B. Originally from New York, I’ve called Connecticut home since the fifth grade, and my love for music goes back even further than that. I grew up during the era of CDs and music videos, always chasing the next song that would make people move or feel good. Long before I ever stood behind DJ equipment, I was the unofficial music curator at family gatherings and cookouts, building playlists and burning CDs because friends and family loved what I picked. Looking back, that’s when I first realized I had a natural ability to read a room and choose music that brought people together.

For years, the idea of becoming a DJ crossed my mind, but I never seriously pursued it until 2023, when I discovered karaoke while exploring local entertainment after the pandemic. The energy and community of it drew me in immediately, and a friendship with a karaoke host led to my first weekly hosting gig at the Victorian House in Cheshire, Connecticut. That opportunity changed everything. Since then, I’ve provided DJ and karaoke services for birthdays, weddings, quinceañeras, community events, and everything in between, and I’ve come to appreciate how every event has its own personality.

Music is universal, and one of my greatest strengths is my versatility across genres, from throwbacks and today’s hits to country, hip-hop, Latin music, and karaoke favorites. But what truly sets me apart isn’t just the music, it’s the experience. I genuinely care about every person who hires me and every guest at their event, and I believe great entertainment means creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and ready to have a great time.
